Electric Smash, 2019

(1) Look straight down (Refresh perspective)

(2) Grab S.W.S (Situated near the floor)

(3) As hard as possible, smash it to the wall

S.W.S refers to the contents of a small ball-like projectile. While the hard, dried up slip takes a form of thin shell around the ball, a coat of wax covers the inner wall, making a barrier between the shell and water-based slime, which fills the ball. The words Slip, Wax, and Slime, like the sounding of S.W.S in the mouth, suggest certain gestures; and put together, they express embodied movements between the words as well as the inherent discrepancy in physicality of each elements.
